Auriemma taking the "don't let the door hit you in the ass" approach to the Big East exodus (or Exodus, as it is a Catholic withdrawal).  But offers this shocking assessment:

"The Catholic schools did a really good thing. They stayed at the table for as long as it took them to make as much money as they could. And once they saw all the money running out, they decided to go play somewhere else,"

Because none of the other 50 conference defections over the past decade have been about money.

Sour grapes because looks like UConn may be one of the schools left without a chair when the music stops.

Are you kidding?  UConn is going to crush the remaining Big East teams once the non-football schools vacate.  Can't wait for that UConn vs USF Big East championship matchup!
