Too many other issues to spend 2 picks at RB, although I think it would be a good value.

If you think these guys aren't working, ESPN just had Tomlin on for an interview - looks like he hasn't slept in a week.

My inside source tells me Tomlin is wearing a sharp suit with a sassy, cardboard pocket square. Just kiddding U saw it on his NFL Network interview.

Lattimore just went to SF.

Any chance Vince Williams can be a 3-4 ILB here? One tough bastard.

“I don’t think that he’s in the class with Russell Wilson, Andrew Luck or RGIII…or even (Ryan) Tannehill,” Polian said. “But I do think that he has a big arm, he can make all the throws, is very poised in the pocket and has a good release. He can see the field, he understands what he’s looking at. He has leadership qualities, even though he’s a quiet low-key kid.”

Ooooh... almost as good as Tannehill! Hip fucking hooray.

Not the most ringing endorsement, but have to remember what (in my mind) the goal is.  This is not Ben's replacement in all likelihood.  Ben hopefully has at least 5 years left, and don't see Landry sitting behind someone for that long if he's truly starter material.  However, if he is able to to be close to starter or lower tier starter status, then he can work as a solid, reliable, HEALTHY backup, which is something we absolutely do not have right now.

If we get some wins from him over the next 3 years, then that's about all you can ask from most 4th rounders.

Then 2016ish we can start looking for the for real replacement for Ben.
