Interesting article on Steelers.com about how STs have never been a Steeler trademark. I don't care about going all Chicago Bears with it, but it would be nice to get to respectability.

We need STs that can basically be competent:  shorten the field for our O, lengthen the field for theirs.

One of the problems with our statistically wonderful D the last few years is that we're kings of yardage, and not necessarily turnovers or points allowed.  Shitty STs give opposing offenses short fields, so yeah, no fucking wonder we hold offenses to fewer yards.  It's an accounting trick.
