Was looking back a previous drafts and didn't realize how long Timmons has been around.  Mainly in name only.

He and Woodley have to become what Harrison and Polamalu were.  That is, playmakers.

Re: comps, if the Steelers don't see Sanders as a guy they will keep beyond this year, would hope for the 3rd from NE as it beats any 2015 comp they'll get.  And the Steelers need help sooner than later (two year span)

Wallace should bring back a nice comp next yr.  Lewis an OK too.  Colon won't as a cut.  Mendy maybe...I think he will be awful and miserable out there.  I can't believe anyone jumped Mundy.  Heck Will Allen is still available

Did a little reading on this.

FWIW, last RFA WR to actually be tendered an offer by another club was 10 years ago -- L. Coles by (not surprisingly) the Skins.

I'll believe Sanders gets one when I see it.  As long as NE doesn't go overboard with an offer (can't imagine they would), I'd bet that Pittsburgh matches.  Wouldn't surprise me if the Pasties don't even bother with Pittsburgh losing Wallace in FA.

Why spend all that time and effort putting an offer together if the other team will likely just match it?

Well, yeah, true.  There's always that.
