Problem is there was enough good in the 3rd and first part of the 4th that Tomlin will speak of all of the positives.

This team still doesn't have a TO on defense and Ben has fumbled 3 times, lost two and thrown a pick.

I guess I at least now believe they won't go 0-16 but it will continue to be a very long season with the Steelers continuing to shoot themselves in the foot and just be out of reach of sacks and TOs on D.

I had a bad feeling when we got within range that the Bears would pull out a drive and put us down again.  Defense had actually played fairly well despite the score.  Third and long conversions at the worst time.  And then yet another turnover.

Hard to win when they get 24 off turnovers and you "only" score 23.

As far as Tomlin's attitude - I thought it spoke volumes when Michelle reports that TOmlin coming out of halftime says we don't need a score, just keep hanging around and "we'll get to Cutler."  Meanwhile, the coach with the 14 point lead says they need to make something happen right away to get momentum back.  Result - fumble, easy FG, 17 point lead, game essentially over.

No turnovers forced in three games?  That's almost impossible.

They played good football, consistently, for 1.5 quarters.  Not gonna do it in this league.  Ben shit the bed tonight.

Was thinking Ben just doesn't seem right.  Maybe too many changes, maybe too many hits to the head.  But since throwing critical interceptions in the deciding moments of the last two games last season, he seems off target more than ever.  And those fumbles are so careless.

For someone who drops a lot of passes, Emanuel Sanders seems like a sulky bitch.

Ben used to be, that mojo seems long gone.

And I don't think our DBs are even thinking interception.  It seems they are so focused on coming up to make the tackle they aren't seeing the ball.  Several times I've seen errant passes sail right by our guys and they don't react to it until it's 5 yards past.

Glad they finally noticed in the second half that Cutler dumps it off to the RB a lot and actually covered him.

Tomlin will note that the performance was below the line.

Yep.  He hasn't had it since the season they played GB in the SB.  No better option but Ben is making enough mistakes to outweigh the good and he is not the positive he used to be.

Some improvements but too much of the same old shit. You can't expect to win games after going down 24-3. You can't expect to win games with a negative 4 turnover ratio. Gonna be a long season.
