I was sorta half joking, half serious talking about Clowney.  However, if the situation presented itself through whatever scenario, passing on a guy who is generally considered by pretty much every talent evaluator out there to be a home run in order to stockpile picks is not the approach this team needs to take.  Besides, it's not like if they were to take that approach, that it would translate into quality picks.

Listen, I get that drafting an OLB in R1 might sound nuts after doing that the previous year, but this wouldn't be reaching to fill a need.  This would be taking the BAA at their pick.  A playmaker.  Something this team is in desperate need of right now.

Maybe this is me stirring the pot, but Clowney has underperformed this year (which he has blamed on a nagging injury that will require surgery after the season) and shown no commitment to stopping the run....  Just sayin.
