It's strange that at 4-6 the Steelers are one game back from a WC spot.  I don't know if 8-8 will get a team in but 9-7 might do the trick. Penso told me last week that if the Steelers go 7-1 or better for the second half, he'll eat his shoe.

Yeah, if they'd beaten Oakland, they'd be the 6 seed RIGHT NOW.  Sad state of the AFC, but it ain't over yet.

Oh, don't get me wrong, it's over alright.  They just don't know it yet.  And in years past I would have hung on until the math said it was impossible.  But that 0-4 start took the air out of my sails for the season.  I was happy to see them win, then pissed that they hurt their draft position.  Mediocrity is the worst case scenario in the NFL.
