Won't even be the #2 guy according to ESPN article.

Redskins back to a total cluster.  Was a bad idea to draft 2 QBs in the same season, if you were bound and determined that RG III was your guy.  Repeat of history - drafting Heath Shuler and Gus Frerrotte the same year (although RGIII >>>> Shuler, it creates problems).

Best case if you're a Skins fan:  Team loses out, Shanny fired, draft in top 3, RG III still the guy

Worst case:  go 3-0, Shanny somehow saves his job, drafting #10ish range, and a year-long QB controversy is born.

Only problem is St. L has their 1st.

Shanny is gone.  Snyder is trying to wait him out so he doesn't owe Shanahan the $7m for the last year of the deal.  Shanny trying to force the issue.

Skins will need a new OC too as it is currently Kyle Shanahan.  Haslett is likely gone too

I feel badly for the Skins fans around here.  So much hope until the Seattle playoff game

Yeah, Washington traded a ton to move up:  "No. 2: St. Louis → Washington (PD). St. Louis traded this selection to Washington for first-round selections in 2012 (6th), 2013, and 2014, and a 2012 second-round selection (39th)."

Last year, looked like a smart move.  But the repercussions went far beyond the ACL: when you give up 2  years' worth of R1s, you pinch off the influx of surrounding talent.  This whole thing has been so badly handled, by Shanny, by Snyder, and frankly by RG3 as well, although being the young guy who wants to play his frustration is understandable.  Shanny should have eased RG3 in, and Snyder is the Midas fuck as far as anything relating to cap and roster management.  Aside from Garcon, who does RG3 have?  A shitload of underperformers, has-beens, and never weres.

Swap RG3 and R. Wilson and what happens?  Nothing much changes for either team.  Except Wilson hates life in its new incarnation.

Yes, there are teams worse off than us, always good to remember.

Shanarat is gonzers.

Dunno why all the drama.  RGIII is being benched because he's not 100% and playing like shit.  He should've just said that and be done with it.

Whether he's trying to stick it to Danny Boy is up for debate (several that have played for him seem to think that's his MO), but he's actually doing Snyder a favor by protecting the franchise.  Maybe he can actually get healthy and put in the offseason work that he needs to improve.

Why would anyone want to coach the Redskins with Snyder there?  FFS, he makes Jerruh look like a sane, hands-off dude.  Maybe they can get Riggins to be HC and everybody can sit around on the field after practice and drink beer.
