Luther "Here And Now...for now" Vandross - still ailing from the traditionally pesky "stroke-like symptoms" Tommy "The Duke" Morrison - What comes higher in the obit? His impressive reign in the middle 45 minutes of Rocky 5, or his big win over champ George Foreman? Marion "Suge" Knight - Overdue. Audrey " THAT DIRTY WHORE" Hepburn -....er, nevermind Michael "J" Fox - You know Keaton and Jack Tripper will make for one heck of team in this year's Heaven Rookie Show. Chris "Older, Heavier, Less Responsible Version of Len Bias" Washburn - "Sugar" Ray Richardson was the pick until I remembered he fled to Spain to live the good life. Anna Nicole Smith - A stapled up psychopathic cokehead with zero self-control. Call it a gamble. Wilford "Mothaf'n" Brimley - This angioplasty is brought to you by the good folks at Quaker Oats. Jake "The Snake" Roberts - I think he might have turned to God but he was always a mess. Nelson Mandela - Octagenarian with health issues being handled by third-world doctors. Earl "The Tyler Rose" Campbell - D-Shell took years off this dude's life with his famously vicious hit.

Suge and Luther and sweet picks.
Brimley, oddly, is like 30. He'll live forever off that goddamned oatmeal.

Luther "Here And Now...for now" Vandross
(7/1/2005, 54 years old, 46 POINTS) Joyceman leapfrogs Oat to take the lead in our Pool. First Luther; then Stram...who's next? We all know things like this always happen in 3's. **Y2, Let me know who you'd like to add in Luther's spot. Thanks.

Candidates must be known to be alive at the time of their selection.
Besides, if I had to venture a guess, she ain't dead. Wouldn't surprise me to hear that she was sold off as a young, white sex slave or some shit.

Way back in 1984 a friend of my draw a comic and distributed it at school. Ethel Merman appeared in his Valentine's day comic. She died the very next day. Two months later, on April Fool's Day, Jack Berry (the game show host) appeared in his comic. A month later (May 4, 1984) Jack Berry was dead. The writer/artist got numerous requests for special guest stars to appear in his comics after that point.

Rap mogul Suge Knight shot in leg at club
Miami Beach, Fla. -- Rap-label founder Marion "Suge" Knight was shot in the leg early yesterday during a party hosted by Grammy-winning hip-hop artist Kanye West, police said.
Knight, 40, was hospitalized in good condition, police said. He was shot during a celebrity-studded party at the Shore Club, one of the many celebrations in Miami Beach ahead of the MTV Video Music Awards scheduled for last night.
Knight co-founded the pioneering rap label Death Row Records. The label struggled when Knight was sent to prison for assault and weapons violations.
C'mon! Die, you bastard!!!

He shot himself in the leg when he attempted to pull his 9 out of his pants and show it off to one of his lady friends.
Death? Nah. Serious blow to his ego? Check.

I am adding John Wooden and Naomi Campbell because Cope is dead (21 points BYE NOW!) and my Steelers 08 Calendar tells me it's the first of the month (ala the hit by Bone Thugz N Harmony (feat Puxatawney Phil). Remove Hawking, as I see others have claimed him.
I figured inputting "the first FA to sign with the Patriots" would be deemed too vague.
Cumulative list 1) Joe Paterno 2. Tommy Morrison 3. Marion Knight 4. Michael J. Fox 5. Jack Kevorkian 6. Fidel Castro 7. Naomi Campbell 8. Jake "The Snake" Roberts 9. Beanie Sigel 10. Earl Campbell 11. Henry Kissinger 12. Ariel Sharon 13. Tedy Bruschi 14. Greg Louganis 15. Amy Winehouse 16. Jimmy Snuka 17. John Wooden 18. Tony Bennett 19. Pacman Jones 20. Dale Earnhardt Jr
