As a resident of the Dallas area, I feel your pain James. It was dreadful after '95 but I kept my head high - should have won that one.

I think Tomlin will get the best out of these guys in 2009. Thanks for replying, comments are few and far between.

Keep on keeping the faith on the left coast!

I, for one, completely agree with Mr. Holmes.

I live in California born in Hayward (San Francisco Bay Area). And I have been a total Steelers Fan for 38 wonderful years. True we had a dry spell through the end of the 70's to the 90's and even on Nov. 17, 2004 when I sat and watched in disbeleaf when my girl friends S.F. 49ers beat us 35 - 17.

But it all became history in 2006 when the Steelers joined the niners & Cowboys and became the first AFC franchise to put the 5th Lombardi trophy in Mr. Rooney's case.

I have the utmost respect for the most stable NFL franchise in the History of America's most popular sport. I work 34 years in the middle of the Raider nation, and each and every time I had to hear it for flying my teams colors and logo I always replied with the words I think I made famous in the S.F. Bay Area

"Just remember, the road to the Super Bowl goes through Pittsburgh!"

I am one Californian that is glad that the Steelers are the Best of the Best.
