Tangled Giving Potter a Run at the Box Office
Although Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 topped the box office on yesterday's pre-Thanksgiving Wednesday with $14.4 million, Disney's new animated film Tangled scored an impressive $11.5 million in its first day in 3,603 theaters nationwide, the highest pre-Thanksgiving Wednesday opening ever, bringing in more money than the previous holder of that record, Toy Story 2 back in 1999.
